I have known Linda since the 60's. Her sister Jannette and I were good friends and we would beg her to take us riding in her Chevy. We would go to places like Roberts and other drive-ins. She would always relent and we would sit in the back seat. Thanks for the memories. You will be missed.

Linda was the sweetest and now Heaven has another angel! All the Gartner’s loved her starting back in Funky Shirt days. She along with Diana and Buns (88 years young now) made quite the team! She honored us with a visit in Hawaii a few years ago. It was such a treat to spend that time with her. Love to the family during this difficult time.

My memories of Linda go back to the 60s when I was a little kid and she was a teenager. My mom, Linda's first cousin, and the rest of our family would come down to "Venice" many Sundays for a day of family and lots of food. I remember when Linda started dating "Big Rich" and that he had a Corvette (smart girl :). And I remember her wedding, and Bass Lake, and watching football in the Lewis' tv room with Richard and Poppy and a table full of snacks, and I will always remember how intently she looked at me whenever we were talking one-on-one. We will miss you very much Linda. You gave us so many amazing times.

Anyone who knew Linda was very lucky. I will always remember how crafty Linda was (before crafty was even popular) with her perfectly wrapped generous gifts and home decorations and yummy dishes and desserts she made for holidays and gatherings. “Big Rich” and Linda never missed a one! Birthdays, holidays, baby and wedding showers and baptisms, they always showed up, teaching us younger cousins to appreciate how important family and traditions truly are. I’ll remember the fun times when we got invited to Bass Lake and Mammoth! Amongst my fondest and funnest memories of my times with my cousin, Linda was shopping. We had a tradition of Christmas shopping in November, the weekend of the UCLA-USC rivalry football game! Boy could she shop and boy did she teach me a few tricks of the trade. I keep thinking what a reunion there must be in Heaven! Toni and your Mom and Dad and all our other family greeted you I know! I, also, know that you are not suffering any more and your heart is no longer hurting. Rest In Peace dear cousin and thank you for being such a fun and giving cousin and Auntie and Godmother to our boys. We love you!

Linda was the best she would come to Boston at least twice a year to celebrate her grandchildren Maddy and Luke birthday so that would be 15 years until she could not travel anymore they went to see her.. When she was here we would always do a puzzle , play cards or just talk and catch up with news about family.. I will miss Linda she was always kind to my family.
Rest in peace Linda
