Obituary of Linda Marie Butterfield

Linda Marie Butterfield (74), passed away peacefully May 19, 2023, surrounded in love at her home in Lancaster, CA. She was born August 25, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio and spent most of her life residing in Southern California. She was the daughter of Edith Ambrose and sister of Lori Platt & Bobby Smith. She married Henry “Hank” Butterfield November 4, 1970 and they were together for 30 years. Linda is survived by her five children, Douglas Holland, Dana Leonards, Bridget, Christine (Todd Simes), and H. Patrick (Kimberly) Butterfield, as well as her 10 grandchildren; Dougie Holland, Patrick, Sabrina & Keara Hennessey, Jaden & Jared Butterfield, Christen & Jacen Arman, Jacob & Troy Butterfield and two great grandsons; Kalon Holland and Lincoln George, as well as her many nieces, nephews and many extended family members & friends that she embraced as her own. Linda had an entrepreneurial spirit. She was in the manufactured housing business for over 4 decades, and also a licensed Realtor, and General Contractor. The Butterfields lead the way in the affordable housing industry. She was always up for fun and quick to laugh. Linda enjoyed traveling, art, painting, reading, camping, playing cards, Chinese checkers, board games, dinner with friends and family, going to the beach, flirting with anybody in uniform and making people laugh with her wonderful sense of humor. Over Linda’s lifetime she enjoyed great adventures traveling to Japan, Mexico, Europe, Brazil, Australia, Switzerland, Hawaii, cruising the Caribbean and road trips across the United States. She is preceded in death by her mother Edith, ex-husband Hank, her sister Lori & her grandson Biagio "Bo" Nave. Linda was our loving Matriarch. She will forever be loved, remembered and missed dearly by us all. Rest in Paradise.
