Mert and family, I am sorry for the loss of Paul. I have been recalling memories of him since Mom (Helen) told me about his passing. Growing up on the farm in St. Libory we were always thrilled when his purple semi would come rolling down the country road and he'd spend a couple of days with us on his coast to coast runs. Those were always good times because we'd all go out to eat at the Legion Club for dinner. But mostly it was because Paul was a great uncle to us kids and he cared about everyone. When my sister, Janet, and I were 18 and 21 we went to CA and stayed with Paul and Donna for a few days. He made sure we had a great time experiencing CA for the first time. Another memory includes both he and Mert traveling to NE for my wedding. He was a sweet man and will be missed but lives on in our hearts and memories.
