Dixie was blessed with a beautiful life full of wonderful family and friends, and will forever hold a special place in our hearts and many lives she touched. Dixie is now a beautiful guardian angel that will forever water over my family and has the job of watching over me. My mama Dixie will open her wings and fly to heavenly reward that God has waiting for her. She leaves us with years of beautiful memories, stories and much gratitude. The loss is unimaginable but so is the love left behind. Her warm, caring personality endeared her to many and formed special bonds with her friends Marilyn, LouLou, Carol, Mary, Yvonne, Jerry and Marjo. Dixie (Grannnie Dixie), had a personality of "live and let live" loved to dance, listen to George Jones and country music, loved to listen to Greek music and watch Greek dance. She loved and adored her great granddaughters Monroe and Madison. We are grateful for every second of every day that we got to spend with our dear Grannie Dixie. Her memory will be forever cherished . . . Mom, you left me beautiful memories and your love is still my guide and though I cannot see you, you are always by my side. She's the place you came from, your first home, and she's the map you follow with every step you take. Forever loved and missed, Mama Dixie (Grannie Dixie). For all of us you gave your best, Now the time has come my dearest mama for you to rest. So go in peace, you've earned your sleep. Your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep.
