Obituary of Lula Mae Menne

Lula Mae Menne was born May 9th,1921 to Joseph & Myrtle Kasney in Hooker Oklahoma. She was the 4th oldest of 10 siblings. She passed peacefully in her sleep at home Thursday April 18th 2024 just 3 weeks shy of her 103rd birthday. She is preceded death by her husband Horace William Menne (2000) and her son Roger Menne (2006) her brothers Elemer(1921)James (1997) Howard (2004) Jack(2009)and William (2022)sisters Helen(2018) Melva (2021)and her granddaughter Rebecca Wickerd (2004). She is survived by her son Richard Menne of Lancaster and daughter Alice Vigil of Palmdale Her brothers Larry Kasney and Ken Kasney grandson Raymond Vigil and Rodney Vigil both from Palmdale, Micah Menne,Jarrod Menne and granddaughter Jaime Menne, Rebecca Vigil and great grandsons Timothy Carter Tommy Wickerd and 2 great great granddaughters Nicole and Kendall Wickerd. She grew up on a farm in Medicine Lodge Kansas where she helped her mom raise her siblings. In 1945 she met Horace William Menne and after just few months they were married December 31.1945 and went on to have there 3 children and later settled down in Palmdale where she lived till day she passed .
