A lot of people have spoken on Carol's Facebook page about how supportive and caring she was. I hope everyone will look there and see those kind words. I got cancer around the same time as her brother and was devastated because my eldest brother had just died from it. I couldn't seem to get started with my own treatment due to depression and Carol's encouragement really helped me a lot. She was not only my cheerleader but helped me find the resources I needed for natural supplements to help repair my compromised immune system. Those daily pushes and shoves brought me to remission, where I am today. It wasn't long before I was on the pushing end. Many days, I felt like nothing was enough but Carol was pushing herself as hard as she could to stay positive and surround herself with love. Fortunately, Carol also had/has a very loving family and great kids to fill that need. I think if not for them, she would have been gone sooner. At the end of the day, Carol gave all she had to be the best friend she could be to many including this undeserving soul. I know she watches over us and sometimes I can hear her laugh! To her family: Thank you for loaning her to us. To Carol: Thank you for being my friend.
