Obituary of Khumsuay White

Khumsuay White, aged 73, passed away on April 11, 2025, in the Mojave Desert greater area. Born in the 50s in rural Thailand, Khumsuay dedicated her life to her family and her passion for cooking, often working multiple jobs to support her loved ones. And even though she left Thailand as a young adult; the rice patties, mountains, and jungle lived deeply in heart and her memory. Throughout her life, Khumsuay was known for her exceptional culinary skills, a talent that brought great joy and comfort to those around her. Her grandkid called her "the best Thai chef in the world", which is what she always called her own grandmother. Her love for cooking was paralleled by her enjoyment of playing cards and visiting casinos, activities that reflected her spirited and engaging personality. Khumsuay leaves behind a loving family: her daughter, two sons, her cherished grandchildren, nephew/son, and dear sisters; some blood some not, in Thailand and in the Thai communities across the US. She joins in the afterlife her dearly departed husband. Her presence and warmth will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Khumsuay's life was marked by her generosity and the deep connections she forged with everyone she met. Her legacy of love and resilience continues to live through her family and many lives she touched. She will be truly missed and loved by many… we were blessed by her presence that will stay with us in our hearts forever, and the beautiful memories we have!
